SÖP with significantly more complaints in 2023

The German arbitration board for public transport had significantly more proceedings in 2023. According to the company's own information, the positive completion rate of the approximately 39.000 cases should be 85 percent.

Around a third of the transport companies affected would have recognized the travelers' demands immediately after SÖP became involved. With the vast majority of 84 percent, most problems have affected air travel. Many cases were resolved positively after at least some mediation work, but not all.
