Southwest: Boeing 737-800 loses engine cover

On April 7, 2024, Southwest Airlines flight WN3695 had to make a return landing en route from Denver to Houston. The aircraft lost the fairing of the right engine while climbing.

The Boeing 737-800 with registration N8668A was affected. According to reports, there was damage to the wing. The captain decided to return to Denver Airport for safety reasons. The landing was completed safely so that all passengers and crew members were able to leave the medium-haul jet uninjured. The NTSB has now begun the investigation.
