Southwind Airlines wants to challenge the EU ban

The Turkish holiday airline Southwind does not want to accept its expulsion from the airspace of the European Union and the United Kingdom. It was announced that an appeal had been lodged.

The company alleges that the decisions were made based on a report from the Finnish Civil Aviation Authority. Southwind says that they were not asked to comment. They have now made complaints and hope that the ban will be lifted.

Southwind Airlines is accused of having connections to the Russian Nordwind Airlines. This is denied by the Turkish company. However, the authorities of the United Kingdom, Finland and EASA are of the opinion that the Turkish owners supposedly just acting as straw people.
