From January 22, 2024, Swiss will operate a seasonal flight connection between Zurich and Rotterdam. This will initially be offered six times a week.

“It is our mission, as a Swiss airline, to offer our passengers an attractive, diverse route network and to develop this further according to the needs of our customers. We work on this with a lot of commitment and dedication. We are very pleased that with Rotterdam we can add a new destination to our program that is worth a trip in every respect,” said Benedikt Escher, Head of Network Management.

The flight time to Rotterdam is one hour and 30 minutes. The rather small airport is uncomplicated and the routes for passengers are short. The city center can be reached by car in around 10 minutes (depending on traffic) and by public transport in 20 minutes. Rotterdam is around an hour's drive from Amsterdam and half an hour from The Hague. There are also quick connections to both cities by public transport.
