Latvian airline Air Baltic has started non-stop flights between Tampere in Finland and Palma de Mallorca in Spain. These will be served on Mondays and Fridays until October 2024.

Thomas Ramdahl, Senior Vice President Network Management at Air Baltic, emphasized the importance of this new connection: “Tampere is one of Air Baltic’s home cities and we are committed to improving connectivity from there to offer our customers more travel options. The new route to Palma de Mallorca allows passengers to enjoy the warmer weather and explore the beautiful nature. This summer season we are also expanding the Air Baltic network in Central and Southeast Europe to include new destinations and increasing flight frequencies to other popular European destinations, all of which are accessible daily from Tampere via our main hub in Riga.”
