Warning strike at Discover Airlines on December 23, 2023

For the first time in the company's short history, the Lufthansa subsidiary Discover Airlines has called for a strike. The Cockpit Association is calling on pilots to stop work.

The warning strike is scheduled to take place from December 23, 2023. According to the union, all flights operated with Airbus A320 and A330 will be on strike between 8 a.m. and 00 p.m. The background to the warning strike is that, from the perspective of employee representatives, collective bargaining is said to be deadlocked.

It is to be expected that numerous Discover Airlines flights will be canceled. How many pilots will actually take part in the strike is still unclear.
