Westjet is fleeting five more Boeing 737-Max-8s

The Canadian airline Westjet will expand its fleet with five more Boeing 737-Max-8 medium-haul jets starting next year.

These are leasing aircraft that are purchased from the lessors Avolon and CDB Aviation. According to Westjet, deliveries are scheduled to begin at the beginning of 2025. Contracts have been signed with Avolon for two aircraft and the other three are from CDB Aviation.
