Zurich Airport stops party donations

In the course of the public discourse, Flughafen Zürich AG has reviewed and adjusted its practice of financial donations. Political parties will no longer be supported.

As already announced in the spring, the Board of Directors of Flughafen Zürich AG under the new Chairman Josef Felder has used the public discussion about financial support for political parties as an opportunity to review the company's donation practices, which have been in place for years and are shown in the Integrated Report. The board of directors has come to the conclusion that it will forego party donations in the future. In doing so, the Board of Directors takes into account the fact that the general understanding of corporate governance has changed.

Accordingly, Flughafen Zürich AG will no longer make donations to political parties in the future. As before, individuals with political mandates or in election campaigns will not be supported. The Group Code of Conduct of Flughafen Zürich AG was adjusted accordingly as of October 1, 2023.
