Zurich: Association calls for slope extension

An association of around 200 people has formed around Zurich-Kloten Airport to advocate for the extension of runways 28 and 32. People demand that this step be taken for security reasons.

At the beginning of March 2024, there will be a referendum on whether the airport can carry out the expansion that the committee is advocating. The topic is not new, as there has been controversy for many years about whether runways 28 and 32 should be extended or not.
