Due to a 24-hour general strike, Greek air traffic has to be suspended next Thursday. All flights operated by Greek airlines Aegean and Olympic Air are scheduled to be cancelled.

The union for air traffic controllers in Greece has planned a general strike for next Thursday. The background to this strike is a train accident two weeks ago that killed 57 people. The majority of those affected were under 30 years old. The strike is expected to last 24 hours and result in the cancellation of some flights. The airlines Aegean and Olympic Air canceled all their flights – but tickets can be rebooked at no cost.
