A chilly diplomatic climate prevailed between the South American countries of Venezuela and Colombia for a long period of time. Therefore there were no commercial flights. That changed on Monday when Turpial Airlines reactivated Caracas-Bogota.

Thus, after more than three years, there are commercial scheduled flights between the two countries again. Two rounds per week are currently offered. Venezuela and Colombia have only recently resumed diplomatic relations. These were canceled a few years ago due to a dispute. After a brief opening of the borders, they were closed again due to the corona pandemic.
