The Kazakh airline has received the sixth Airbus A321LR machine.

The new aircraft came straight from the Airbus shipyard in Hamburg and landed at Nur-Sultan international airport, the capital of Kazakhstan. The airline is leasing all Airbus A321LR from Air Lease Corporation. Air Astana took over the first aircraft of this type in September 2019, and a seventh aircraft is to follow by the end of this year.

The Air Astana Group's fleet currently includes 35 aircraft: 15 Airbus A320 / A320neo, twelve A321 / A321neo / A321LR, three Boeing 767s and five Embraer E190 E2s. Of these, nine Airbus A320s and one Airbus A320neo are in use for the low-cost FlyArystan brand. The Air Astana fleet is around three years old on average, making it one of the youngest in the world.
