Last week, Latvia's national airline, Air Baltic, launched the improved technical apprenticeship program SkyTech in the technical department to complement its diverse apprenticeship and internship programs.

It offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with experienced Air Baltic technicians in the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of aircraft mechanical systems. Today 15 students started their internship.

The SkyTech apprentice technician program is designed for candidates who have a thorough understanding of aircraft structures, systems and mechanics, as well as their airworthiness. The training is a challenging and rewarding experience that provides hands-on training in all aspects of aircraft maintenance.
