At the beginning of November 2023, seven cadets from Air Baltic's flight school received their pilot licenses. In addition, the 20th group of 15 students has already started their training to become professional pilots.

“We are proud of the newest graduates of the pilot academy. Some of them will begin additional training this month and prepare to join the Air Baltic team soon. Well-trained staff is a crucial element for the success of any airline. We also congratulate the young and motivated students of the 20th group who started their training journey today,” said Managing Director Martin Gauss.

There are currently 110 students working at the Air Baltic Pilot Academy. Most of them come from the Baltic countries, but there are also students from other EU countries such as Germany, France, Finland, Spain, Italy and others. Overall, more than 10% of Air Baltic-Pilot Academy students are female. So far, 95 students have started at Air Baltic after graduating.
