The Spanish airline Air Europa ended the use of the aircraft type Airbus A330-200. These were returned to the respective lessor. The carrier recently used ten machines of this type.
The company confirmed to CH-Aviation.com that the removal has meanwhile been carried out. The first two units were returned to the Lessors even before the corona pandemic. The only Airbus A330-200 has since been removed from the fleet. The switch to the Boeing Dreamliner series is now largely complete. This type of aircraft now forms the backbone of Air Europa's long-haul fleet.
