Air India Express looking for hundreds of additional pilots

Air India Express expects to hire at least 350 more pilots over the next year. This is also due to the fact that the fleet is to be significantly expanded.

The previous airlines Air Asia India and Air India Express were brought together under the Air India Express brand. The company wants to expand the fleet by up to 1,5 aircraft within the next 50 years. They plan to hire around 350 pilots in the coming year alone. According to the company's own information, 300 people are currently training to become pilots. These are not yet taken into account in the number of planned new hires and are therefore added on top.
