Airbnb donates municipal building sales to Wiener Hilfswerk

The money that Airbnb has earned over the past eleven years from advertisements for municipal housing is to be donated in full to the Vienna relief organization. The Wiener Hilfswerk uses the Airbnb donation for projects in the homeless and refugee aid, where the money is primarily intended to help people in emergency situations. In addition, new social housing management projects are established and supported.

The Wiener Hilfswerk operates houses for formerly homeless people, and we also look after and support our clients on a mobile basis in apartments that we make available.
