American-737 dismantled lantern in Dallas / Fort Worth

An unfortunate incident that occurred on May 28, 2021 was captured by a camera at Dallas / Fort Worth Airport. The pilots of an American Airlines Boeing 737-800 apparently misjudged the distance between the machine and a light pole.

The medium-haul jet dismantles the lighting system with the left wing. This also caused considerable property damage to the N834NN. At the time of the unfortunate incident, which did not result in personal injury, the machine was around eleven years old.

The following video shows the American Airlines Boeing 737-800 "shaving off" a lantern at Dallas / Fort Worth Airport.
