From January 17, 2022, Austrian Airlines will significantly increase the number of flights between Klagenfurt and Vienna. Up to three flights a day are offered.

AUA has been flying up to two times between Klagenfurt and Vienna since September. Up to three flights a day are planned from January 17, 2022, using the Embraer 195 jets with 120 seats.

Eurowings is also increasing the frequency for the route to Cologne. The city in North Rhine-Westphalia is served twice a week, the frequency will gradually be increased to five weekly connections by next March. The Dutch Transavia Airlines also offers direct flights to Rotterdam - initially limited to seven dates in January and February.

“These are good signals. They show that the corona-related dry spell is behind us. We assume that the work of our airline marketing will bear further fruit, ”explains Nils Witt, Managing Director of Klagenfurt Airport.
