Collect Avios: British Airways and Uber are working together

The ride broker Uber and the IAG frequent flyer program Avios will be working together in the future. From the end of November 2022, members of the British Airways Executive Club can collect Avios for journeys brokered by Uber.

To do this, the user accounts must be linked to one another. This process is said to be rewarded with 250 bonus Avios. The Avios can be used as part payment for award flights, with British Airways guaranteeing a minimum of 14 award seats on each long-haul flight and 12 on each short-haul flight to and from London Heathrow and London Gatwick. All British Airways Executive Club members will be able to collect Avios via the Uber app from the end of the month.
