Aeroméxico will fleet up 24 new Boeing jets by next year - including the 737 MAX 8, 737 MAX 9 and 787 Dreamliner.

The first copies are to be delivered in a few weeks, so that the Mexican airline can fly with them in the summer. The management hopes that the more efficient aircraft will make them more competitive, like flightglobal.com reported. At the latest when the demand for air travel picks up again. The deal is part of the restructuring plans with which the airline wants to fly out of the crisis.

Aeroméxico is in a protective shield proceeding under US law. According to the airline, the integration of the new aircraft will save a total of two billion US dollars in maintenance and leasing costs.
