Boeing is again cutting down production of the 787 Dreamliner: from mid-2021, the American aircraft manufacturer only wants to produce five copies per month.
The reason for this is the current weak demand, like that ORF reported. The Airbus rival had cut production of the model several times over the past year and a half. Not a single copy was shipped in the past month. The pandemic has not only given this model the rest, due to the current travel restrictions there is hardly any need for new aircraft around the world.
