British Airways celebrates the start of the season in Salzburg

Oneworld member British Airways kicked off its 2022/23 winter flight program in Salzburg on Monday. The British national carrier will connect Salzburg with London in the coming winter season (Heathrow three times a week, Gatwick up to twice a day).

In addition, BA Cityflyer will fly twice a week from London City and weekly from Southampton to Salzburg during the winter. “British Airways is coming back to Salzburg, which not only pleases the British holidaymakers, but also the people of Salzburg and Bavaria. Great Britain is one of the most important source countries for Austria and the Bavarian border region. British guests have been loyal winter visitors to the city of Salzburg and the surrounding ski regions for decades, and so has British Airways at Salzburg Airport. The Salzburg-London flight connection is one of the most popular destinations for business travelers as well as for short vacations," says airport officer Christopher Losmann.
