On Thursday, the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air opened another base in Burgas, Bulgaria. An Airbus A2021 will be stationed at this airport until September 320.

The Hungarian low-cost airline has had a base at Varna Airport, which is also operated by Fraport, for several years. This year the lowcoster is also increasingly flying to Burgas, although a reaction from competitor Ryanair was not long in coming. The Irish group has launched numerous new routes to the two airports on the Black Sea for midsummer.

Wizz Air is offering a total of ten new routes from Burgas. These are Dortmund, Eindhoven, Kiev-Schuljany, Liverpool, Posen, Tel Aviv, Turku, Danzig, Lublin and Doncaster / Sheffield.
