Since January 1, 2022, the security company FraSec Aviation Security GmbH has been majority-owned by Dr. Sasse AG. This step had been planned for a long time and is related to the re-coordination of aviation security at Frankfurt Airport.

Fraport AG was previously the majority owner of FraSec Luftsicherheit GmbH. In the course of the transaction, the name was changed to the wording mentioned at the beginning. For a few weeks now, the security checks in Frankfurt have no longer been carried out on behalf of the federal police, but carried out by the airport itself.
