Dreamliner: FAA lifts delivery freeze

On Friday last week, the US Civil Aviation Administration lifted the delivery freeze imposed on the Boeing 787 series some time ago. The aircraft manufacturer can now hand over the Dreamliner to customers again.

A message from the FAA reads, among other things, that the manufacturer was able to dispel the concerns of the authority. About two weeks ago, the agency ordered that Dreamliner deliveries had to be halted for the time being because additional investigations had to be carried out on a fuselage component.
