From May 12, 2022, the holiday airline Condor will be offering a non-stop connection between Düsseldorf and Almeria in Spain. According to the Provincial Council, this is the first route to Germany in five years.

The flights are to be carried out once a week with an Airbus A320. This means that around 180 seats are offered in each direction. The Spanish tourism association also wants to advertise the new connection, which is initially to be operated in the summer of 2023, as part of the ITB trade fair.
