So-called online travel agents are a thorn in the side of most low-cost airlines. Easyjet is now changing its strategy and has concluded an exclusive deal with eDreams.

As part of the cooperation, additional tariff options are to be marketed. They also want to offer special tariffs via the OTA. According to a spokesman, certain promotions are to be offered exclusively via eDreams.

The cooperation also includes the brands Opodo and Go Voyages. There should be additional options for participants in the paid Prime programs. The step that Easyjet is now taking can also be counted as a U-turn. Unlike its competitor Ryanair, OTAs were never aggressive, but Easyjet always preferred direct bookings.
