The Swiss holiday airline Edelweiss Air is adding three new destinations in Tanzania: Kilimanjaro, Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam. These should be flown in time for the federal autumn holidays.
From October 8, 2021, Edelweiss will be flying direct from Zurich to Kilimanjaro International Airport twice a week. Then it goes on to Zanzibar, but only once a week, because from October 12, 2021 there will be an alternative flight to Dar es Salam on the other day of traffic. Such connections with a stopover are called direct flights. Nonstop flights would be from A to B without a stopover.
