El Al has to stop over in Larnaka because of a smoke report

An emergency happened to the flight LY-383 of the Israeli airline El Al from Tel Aviv to Rome. A smoke report by the crew leads to a spontaneous landing in Larnaka, where the inspection by rescue services is carried out.

A Boeing 737-800 of the Israeli airline El Al initially pursued the plan to fly from the Israeli capital Tel Aviv to the Italian capital Rome. However, this could not be adhered to due to complications that arose. A smoke report from the crew during the flight to Rome near Larnaka led to the decision to divert. The decision is being implemented, and the diversion to Larnaka was also carried out. The landing takes place on a runway in Larnaka, where rescue services inspect and examine the plane.
