The golf carrier only used employees on the ground and in the air who had already been vaccinated against the corona virus.

Yesterday, the entire operation for flight EK215, which took off from Dubai to Los Angeles at 8.30:XNUMX a.m., was carried out by vaccinated operational employees: both check-in and security staff, lounge and boarding gate staff and engineers, pilots and Cabin crew opted for full vaccination.

Flight operations were also supported by fully vaccinated loading and handling teams from dnata as well as Emirates SkyCargo teams, who took care of the freight and logistics requirements for EK215. The Emirates Group started its vaccination campaign a little over a month ago. Since then, nearly 26.000, or 44 percent, of UAE aviation workers have received both doses of the vaccine from Pfizer-BioNTech or Sinopharm.

“At the beginning of the pandemic, Emirates implemented extensive security measures to protect and prioritize the safety of our customers and employees at all stages of the trip. With the rapid progress of our own vaccination program and the high usage, more of our flights will soon be operated with fully vaccinated frontline staff. We are also confident that we can all look forward to the easing of entry requirements for many countries as more people are vaccinated while strict security measures are in place, "said Adel Al Redha, Emirates Chief Operating Officer.
