Emirates: Mother gives birth to baby on Airbus A380

It doesn't happen often, but it does happen again and again: On January 19, 2023, a baby was born on board Emirates flight EK319 from Tokyo (Narita) to Dubai. An Airbus A380 was used.

Although airlines stipulate that pregnant women are no longer allowed to fly after a certain week, it happens again and again that children see the light of day on board aircraft. This is what “happened” on January 19, 2023 on the way from Narita to Dubai. A baby saw the light of day, as the airline officially confirms.

Both the mother and the newborn are said to be in good condition and were taken care of by medical professionals after landing. The crew is said to have assisted with the birth and there were said to have been no complications, so that the flight – with the newborn passenger – could continue as planned.
