The golf carrier is the first airline in the world to provide a Virtual reality app in the Oculus Store. This means that customers can comfortably enjoy the Gamechanger first-class suites, the airline's characteristic A380 on-board lounge or the cabin around their own seat watch from home.

“Emirates strives to deliver innovative and outstanding customer experiences - whether on board, on the ground or in the digital world. In 2018 we were the first airline in the world to introduce advanced web VR technology on its digital platforms. We continued to invest and developed this experience further. Today we're excited to be the first airline to introduce a full-fledged Oculus VR app, "said Boutros Boutros, Divisional Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates.

In the new VR app, developed in cooperation with the technology company Renacen, Emirates customers can use navigation hotspots to navigate through the economy, business and first-class cabins, their seat and the iconic onboard lounge and the Explore the spa shower in the Emirates A380. The Emirates Oculus VR app is available in the so-called Oculus Store.
