Eurowings Discover will tackle the long haul with four Airbus A330 planes. Before that, the new airline of the Lufthansa Group should shoot small bullets first. Nothing will come of that for the time being.

Because it was originally planned that the airline would take over Lufthansa slots to Barcelona and Rome on behalf of Air Dolomiti - and that in April! But things don't always go according to plan. Because currently the airline is still without any operating license from the Federal Aviation Office (LBA). That reports Travel topia.

This circumstance and the generally tense situation in the industry should have been reason enough to postpone the unofficial start of the new airline from April to May. Then the airline will probably fly on short-haul routes to Spain and Italy - with an Airbus A330! The official start date is still dated June.
