Eurowings sees market success in Prague

Eurowings has had a base at Prague Airport for around a year. The management is of the opinion that they are satisfied with the progress so far. The fact that some announced routes were not even included was not addressed.

“Prague and Eurowings go together. We took the step to the Czech Republic when the situation was still very uncertain, but it is becoming increasingly clear that people all over Europe want to travel again after the corona restrictions," says Jens Bischof, CEO of Eurowings. "Our concept as a low-cost airline also works: Czechs like to fly cheaply, but they also appreciate our additional services such as flexible rebooking up to 40 minutes before departure or our priority service".

In the summer of 2023, more flights are to be offered from the Czech capital. Connections to Geneva, Rhodes and Corfu are new to the programme. More frequent connections are offered to Copenhagen (eleven times a week), Stockholm (six times a week), Malaga (four times a week), Athens and Alicante (three times a week). The program now comprises a total of 18 routes, which are served by three Eurowings Europe based aircraft.
