The Lower Austrian aviation supplier F. List GmbH has announced that the chairman of the supervisory board, Franz List, died on March 23, 2024 after a serious illness.
“Franz List's vision led F/List, founded by his father in 1950 as a small carpentry shop, into a global company. His legacy spans decades, during which he not only developed luxury interior products but also achieved numerous milestones in the industry. His tireless ambition, innovation and passion have made F/List what it is today. In October 2017, Franz List handed over management of the company to his daughter Katharina List-Nagl (CEO) and has since acted as Chairman of the F/List Supervisory Board. Franz List will not only be sorely missed by his family and friends, but also by his dedicated employees and business partners. His leadership, his love of craftsmanship and his innovative spirit,” the company said.
