FC Bayern Munich and Qatar Airways are going their separate ways

In 2018, golf carrier Qatar Airways joined FC Bayern Munich as a sponsor. The cooperation was repeatedly discussed controversially in Germany. Now it's over.

The sponsorship contract expired on June 30, 2023 and was mutually not extended. Time and again it was discussed politically and in the relevant media whether the fact that the human rights situation in Qatar is considered to be tense can be reconciled with the values of FC Bayern Munich.
