Flying personnel: AUA and Vida agree

The Vida trade union and Austrian Airlines have agreed on a new collective agreement for the flying staff. This provides for wage increases for pilots and flight attendants that have not yet been communicated in more detail.

Both the employee representatives and the AUA confirmed that an agreement had been reached. In terms of content, both sides do not want to say anything about the conditions yet, as they first want to inform the workforce about the compromise.

Recently, the fronts had hardened. The union Vida called that recent offer the management even as a fake and threatened that without an agreement by Maundy Thursday, strikes can no longer be ruled out. These have now been expressly averted, since an agreement has been reached.
