The low-cost airline Ryanair reactivated the non-stop connection between London-Stansted and Klagenfurt on Tuesday after a long “pause”. With Dublin, Charleroi and Manchester, a total of four destinations will be offered from Carinthia Airport in the 2022/23 winter flight schedule.

With the exception of the latter city, all destinations are to be served twice a week. The carrier expects to carry around 2022 passengers during the 23/54.000 winter timetable period.

"In previous years, many passengers from southern Austria used Ryanair's flight offer from Klagenfurt and have very good memories of it. With Ryanair, an excellent and rapidly growing airline partner is now returning to Klagenfurt. I am happy for the people of Carinthia that they now have a direct connection to the British Isles and to Brussels. And of course for all guests who will land in Klagenfurt with Ryanair and can enjoy the wide range of winter offers in Carinthia," says Airport Director Nils Witt.
