For Lot: Lufthansa Technik Malta carried out the first B787-C check

Lufthansa Technik Malta (LTM) successfully completed its first base maintenance check on a Boeing 787 Dreamliner this week. The C-Check on a LOT Polish Airlines aircraft marks the beginning of the expansion of LTM's service portfolio to include the popular long-haul pattern. With several million euros invested in training and equipment, LTM was able to further strengthen its role as a European competence center for the maintenance of wide-body aircraft.

The C-Check includes extensive checks of the aircraft's various systems and structure, with LTM's expertise in dealing with modern materials and support from Lufthansa Technik's global network playing an essential role. LOT Polish Airlines highlighted Lufthansa Technik's robust capabilities and technical expertise in achieving this milestone.

Maria Cilia, CEO of LTM, emphasized the importance of this event for the company and thanked her customers for their trust. Andreas van de Kuil, Vice President Central Sales Europe and CIS at Lufthansa Technik, was positive about the collaboration with LOT Polish Airlines and hopes to deepen this partnership in the future.
