Freight: Cargolux with another record result

The 2022 financial year was extremely successful for the cargo airline Cargolux, as the result of the previous year was topped and a new record profit was announced. After taxes, the company achieved around 1,45 billion euros.

Cargolux has been able to fly record results in each of the last three years. In the 2022 financial year, profit increased by 2021 percent compared to 22. However, no further growth is expected for 2023, but is less optimistic. The background to this is, among other things, that global demand is stagnating or even declining in some markets. This is also reflected in the freight figures at various large airports.
