The French airport of Castres only has a connection to Paris-Orly on the line. This was on the brink for some time because Air France announced that it would be discontinued. A new operator has now been found in Chalair Aviation, who will take over seamlessly.

For passengers, this means that from June 1, 2023, ATR42-500 turboprop aircraft can be seated. These will run between the two cities up to eleven times a week. So far, Embraer 145s operated by Amelia International have been used on behalf of Air France.

Chalair was also able to win the PSO-subsidized route Aurillac-Paris (Orly) from its much larger competitor as part of a tender. This will also be taken over by Air France on June 1, 2023.
