As Secretary of State for Transport Baptiste Djebbari announced in a radio interview, France is toying with the introduction of a digital “health passport” for air travelers.

Only test runs would already run at full speed. The state carrier should help with this: In the future, Air France will use an app on flights between Paris and French overseas territories - such as Martinique and Guadeloupe - for one month, which will inform about negative CoV tests. According to reports, this could be a “forerunner” to a future new travel document.

Because in addition to negative corona tests, any vaccinations can also be stored in it. The aviation portal reports airliners. President Emmanuel Macron had also called a “health pass” at the end of February as a possible means of reopening restaurants and cultural sites.
