German Airways has signed a service contract with the Cologne-based company German Aviation Service (GAS). The service provider will in future handle all German Airways and German Airways Private aircraft throughout Germany.
GAS, which has been in business for over 25 years, offers, for example, aircraft handling, catering, obtaining landing permits or the supply of fuel. German Aviation Service also provides other services through its network partners. For German Airways, the company will in future be in charge of the entire fleet, which will consist of Embraer E190 and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
“We are very pleased that we can now look after the second oldest German airline. Our aim is to raise German Airways and German Airways Private services to a level that is not common to us either. The airline has demonstrated a high level of flexibility, especially in the current crisis situation, and we are very pleased to be able to support it in this regard in the future, ”said Andreas Becker, CEO of German Aviation Service.
