On the first holiday weekend in Saxony, 50 aircraft take off from the central German airports in Dresden and Leipzig / Halle to holiday destinations around the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and the Red Sea.
In order to have a relaxed start to their vacation, passengers are asked to arrive at the airport at least 2,5 hours before departure and to have all necessary travel documents, certificates and test results to hand. Travelers to Spain, Turkey, Greece and Italy must complete a travel registration online to enter the country. After successful registration, a QR code will be generated. This code must be presented upon check-in. Check-in is not possible without the code!
A total of ten planes take off from Dresden Airport to Antalya, Mallorca, Fuerteventura, Rhodes, Kos and Crete. 40 flights depart from Leipzig / Halle. The holiday destinations Antalya, Istanbul, Fuerteventura, Palma de Mallorca, Las Palmas, Crete, Rhodes, Corfu, Kos, Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Lamenzia Terme are approached. There are also connections to hubs such as Frankfurt, Munich (from DRS and LEJ), Vienna (LEJ), Amsterdam or Zurich (both from DRS), via which destinations can be reached worldwide.
