The Wizz-Air-Group recorded a further decrease in passengers in January 2021. 573.692 passengers were carried. In the same month last year there were 3.151.622 travelers. This meant that around 82 percent fewer passengers were on board. The occupancy rate was 61 percent.

In view of the corona pandemic, however, the comparison with December 2020 is more meaningful. In the last month of the previous year, Wizz Air had 665.772 passengers on board. In this perspective, the decrease is around 14 percent. The occupancy rate in December 2020 was 56,1 percent.
