The Jalan-Kalrock Consortium, which was awarded the contract to take over the insolvent Jet Airways, has received an extension from an Indian court to pay around $42 million to the former airline's creditors.

The buyers have filed a corresponding application with the competent court. This was approved on August 28, 2023. The result of this is that the transfers to be made to creditors now did not have to be paid by August 31, 2023, but by September 30, 2023. However, an extension of the deadline by three months was originally requested.
