The US low-cost airline Jetblue is now speaking out about the Dutch government's upper limit for flights from Amsterdam-Schiphol, which is due to come into force next year for “noise protection reasons”.

This calls for the Air France-KLM group to be banned from John F. Kennedy Airport if the restriction is actually implemented at Schiphol. According to the company, a corresponding letter was sent to the US Department of Transportation.

Jetblue is of the opinion that the cap proposed by the Dutch government would violate the existing air transport agreement concluded between the European Union and the United States of America.
