The airline Croatia Airlines will carry out a capital increase. 29,6 million shares are to be issued for this purpose. These should be taken over by the state. In this way, 39,2 million euros are to be injected into the company.

This is not the first recapitalization of this kind, because two years ago the Croatian government bought 35 million new shares for 46 million euros. In the meantime, there was further help and loans due to the corona pandemic. The state currently owns 97,7 percent of Croatia Airlines. The remaining shares are held by state or state-related companies.
