Laos is saying goodbye to the corona-related entry restrictions: travelers can now enter the Southeast Asian country without having to show a corona vaccination card or negative test evidence.

Travelers who have been fully vaccinated against the corona virus have been allowed to come to Laos for seven months without further conditions; it was sufficient to show the vaccination card at the border. However, the entry restrictions were manageable even for those who were not vaccinated: only a negative rapid antigen test that was no more than 48 hours old was required. There were no further tests after arrival or quarantine regulations. After a government meeting, the office of the Laotian Prime Minister has now announced that all corona entry rules by land, air and sea have been lifted with immediate effect. This is reported by Check 24.
